An introductory membership for 2SLGBTQI+ or allied individuals currently enrolled in a recognized educational program. This category is designed to support students as they begin their professional journey: to explore future opportunities and create connections within the SQEP community.

This membership is designed for professionals of all kinds - whether you’re a medical professional, hairstylist, chartered professional accountant, or serve as the chair of your local Pride board. “Professional” simply means you’re building or contributing your skills, talents, or leadership in your field or community. 

With two options - one for 2SLGBTQI+ folks and one for allies - you can choose the membership that fits you best. This category is built to help you grow your network, develop your skills, and feel connected to something bigger.

This membership is for your business as a whole - meaning both owners and employees can access the benefits. Membership pricing is based on your self-identification (2SLGBTQI+ or allied) and the size of your team. 

Whether you’re a solopreneur, a small business, or a growing company with over 100 employees, this category is built to support your business at every stage and grow alongside your operations. 

*Businesses must be at least 51% owned by someone who identifies as 2SLGBTQI+ to be recognized as 2SLGBTQI+ owned.

This membership is for non-profit organizations of any size and is designed to honour the vital role that NPOs, their staff, and their boards play in our communities. 

Offered as a one-size-fits-all membership, it provides both staff and board members with access to SQEP member benefits - helping to reduce barriers to professional development opportunities, resources, and networking. 

NPO members also receive a unique benefit: the ability to designate a representative who can vote on behalf of the organization at the SQEP Annual General Meeting (AGM).

This membership exists to help reduce barriers and ensure everyone who wants to be part of SQEP can be. It’s available to Indigenous youth under 30, newcomers to Canada, and folks who may be facing financial hardship. 

This is a one-year membership, free of charge, and includes all the same benefits and voting rights as our Individual membership.
